opening of the high-speed Madrid-Valencia

On 19 December this year will open the railway line to high-speed Madrid-Valencia .
The new location is in addition to the already extensive network of high-speed English, the world's second in size only to China (and first for average speed: 222km / h), and is also a confirmation of the economic performance of the project, opened in 1991. It is expected that the single line Madrid-Valencia carry in the first year of about 3.6 million passengers, generating a benefit of some 22,500 million euro.
The new route will travel the 400 km separating the two cities in just one hour and 38 minutes. The ticket costs about 80 €, but if you bought online a few days in advance can cost just 32 € in case of booking the trip back then, you have the opportunity to enjoy a discount of 20 %, which will bring the total price to 128 €. The on-board comfort is guaranteed, as well as the punctuality: 98% of high-speed trains run on time, and in case of delay is almost always possible to request a partial reimbursement of the cost of the ticket.
